Subquest 1 - Clan Centrio
Location: Royal City of Rabanastre - North End
Available: After accepting the Rogue Tomato Mob Hunt from Tomaji (in Chapter 1.1)
What it is about: Clan Centrio was founded by the Moogle Montblanc with the aim of defeating all the Mobs then. It gathers able hunters coming from all over Ivalice
How to join Clan Centrio and why it is good for your health
Clan Centrio is one of the most important subquests of Final Fantasy XII and is closely associated with the Mob Hunts: they also share the fact that they run throughout the game. Getting involved is the easy part: you just need the Key Item "Clan Primer" which you'll receive automatically from Tomaji in the Sandsea (Rabanastre) at the beginning of the story (Chapter 1.1 to be precise), talk to the Bangaa at the entrance of the Clan's headquarters located in Rabanstre's North End, and from then you can choose to walk in. Talk to Montblanc (who stands on the bannister on the upper floor) and you'll be accepted as a new recruit to the clan: told you it was easy!
And then there are the rewards (which are the point of going with the whole charade in the first place really). Being an active member of Clan Centrio is hard work, but the rewards are worth your time. To start with, if you talk to Montblanc a second time upon joining, he'll hand you 3xPotion just for starter (and additional items if you decide to join later, depending on what bosses you've already defeated and your current Clan Rank - but more about that below). Then, there's all this too:
- Get access to Montblanc's Elite Marks
- Receive items and gil for defeating specific fiends or unlocking certain numbers of espers to your licence board
- Receive items each time your Clan Rank increases
- Unlock Rabanastre Muthru Bazaar's Clan Provisioner
- Receive additional informations on Hunts and your Clan Rank

Special fiends and Espers rewards
Not all rewards received are directly linked to hunts your achievements within Clan Centrio. When you visit Montblanc, he might pass to you various items or gil on behald of patrons from all over Ivalice for defeating specific fiends or for mastering a certain number of espers. You can only receive these rewards after having joined Clan Centrio but even if you were to join late in the game, you would still receive the rewards corresponding to all the actions you would have accomplished until then. Clan Rank rewards
For each fiend you defeat you'll be automatically rewarded a certain amount of Clan Points (for the amount of Clan Points awarded for each type of fiends, please refer to the Battle data list - in progress). In turn, these points are converted into Clan Rank, which is an indication of your strength within the Clan Centrio (you'll actually note that several Clan Centrio members' lines to you change as your Clan Rank increases)
However, Clan Points are not the only factor that determines your Clan increase: the number of Mobs you've defeated comes into play as well. Actually, of the two (Mob Hunts completed and Clan Points), the determining factor is more likely to be Mob Hunts: if you do some level up, even moderate, your Clan Points will very quickly rise, whereas the number of Mob Hunts available to you will be limited depending on how far in the main story you are....At any rate, don't forget to visit Clan Centrio and talk to Montblanc when your rank has increased as he'll hand you rewards for each new Clan Rank you've reached

Muthru Bazaar's Clan Provisioner
After joining Clan Centrio, the Clan Provisioner's shop, in Muthru Bazaar (Rabanastre), becomes open to you. This shop is different from all othersin the game in that the items available at any given time depends on your Clan Rank. While there's little to choose from at the beginning, as your Clan Rank increases, important items and spells are unlocked for you to buy. You'll find the detailed list of what's on offer for what rank below
