Esperiae - FF XII Walkthrough - updates
08.16.07: I know it's been a while since I last updated but I must first say that I've just bought Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System, yeah! I haven't popped it in the PS2 yet but I'm really looking forward to, even if I won't probably spend too much time on it until the guide comes out sometime next month
Ok, back to the walkthrough of the regular version: I've begun posting details for the Hunts and for the equipments. The first four hunts can be found here, with more to follow in the next few days; my first equipment page, the complete list of Swords (one-handed), including illustration, stats and exhaustive location listing can be found here - I'm working on a general equipment page as well as more lists so come back soon to check for new stuff!
06.24.07: Update: Ok, I was stuck for almost two hours not knowing what to write, when suddenly all was up in one hour. Anyway, the important thing is that Chapter 5.2 is now completed! The next one will take some time to come up though because a lot of sidequests and areas become available for exploration at that point
Sorry for having stayed away for almost a month, but several reasons kept me from updating here and my other websites as well. Anyhoo, I did manage to finish the Henne Mines, which means I'm wrking now on completing chapter 5.2 here. It may be up tonight or sometime next week. Stay tuned!
06.02.07: I have added the complete Arcane Magicks and Green Magicks lists, which means now all magicks are listed on this site, including all the timing and locations to get them. Also, while I wasn't able to play much, I finally did finish chapter 4 (which has been updated in the walkthrough) and have now started chapter 5.1. Since this one isn't too long I'm hoping to finish it sometime this week and finally start working on chapter 5.2 (Golmore Jungle - Henne Mines) next weekend. Thanks for your patience!
05.27.07: The complete black magicks list is up as well, whew! Unfortunately, I couldn't play as much as I wanted, so I'll probably finish playing chapter 4 tomorrow only....so certainly no new chapter to the walkthrough proper before next weekend, but again, other updates will probably show up, so please come back to check ;-)
05.26.07: I've added the complete time magicks list. Haven't taken the time to re-read it, but it's already late and can barely keep my eyes open. Will do that tomorrow....well, later today :p
05.20.07: I've opened the Magicks and Technicks section with the basics page, and the complete White Magicks list. I've really tried to include also informations that only appear in the Japanese guides; I've also indicated for each spell where and when you can hope to find a given spell first. Hope you'll find it useful
05.19.07: I'm almost done converting everything to php files - in fact, I only have two pages left, I think. At this point, navigation should be alright, but don't hesitate to contact me (aria.at.esperiae [@] gmail.com) to let me know if you encounter a broken link here or there. Also, you may want to know that I've gotten started on chapter 4, which means that I'm one chapter and a half away from working on new pages for the walkthrough proper *whew!* I should complete chapter 4 between today and tomorrow, and chapter 5.1 sometime next week, so it seems reasonable to say the next chapter to my walkthrough should be up at the earliest next weekend, but most probably the week after that, as I'll have other, non FF XII-related things to take care of during my online time in the next few days
05.17.07: The Items list is now complete. May have another update later today....
05.16.07: Items list partially up. Hopefully I'll be able to complete it tomorrow *fingers crossed*
05.12.07: Opened the items and loots section; I'm not sure I'll be able to upload the items list today though. However, I may find the time to upload some new caps
05.06.07: Opened gallery; also created the update page where you'll find all the old update logs, in order to keep this page clean
04.30.07: New section opened: the Mob Hunts section. For now only the basics page is available, but it should grow rather quickly
04.27.07: Have added a links page
04.26.07: IMPORTANT! I am currently converting all the pages into .php to simplify things (btw, thanks Joh from Santa Fé for sending me that information!). That means that all html links won't be valid anymore - if you've linked back using any link other than www.esperiae.net/ffxii, please update the url, thanks! There may be some glitches in the navigation as well during that time. Also, minor corrections to the first pages of the walkthrough will be made today
04.24.07: Sorry for the long time without update. There were the holidays, work has been pretty busy, as well as the rest of my virtual life, and my mom died last month, all keeping me from coming back as soon as I had planned in the first place *sigh* Anyhoo, I'm back and I'm quickly playing through the first half of the game - I'll be doing minor changes to those chapters as I progress, and expect to see the sidequests, game data and extra sections expanded as well. Hopefully it won't take me too long to reach chapter 5.2 and complete the walkthrough section. Please stay tuned!
12.25.06: First, Happy Christmas to everyone (even to those who, like me, don't celebrate *g*). Second, new update: Chapter 5.1 is up - completion level of the walkthrough section: 45%. Hopefully, Chapters 5.2 and 6 will be soon on its heels with the holidays giving me some more time to work on it
12.02.06: Chapter 4 is up - completion level of the walkthrough section: 40%. Whew, I'm really happy as this was one looooong chapter to write but I've finally managed to complete it and the next two should be easier to finish within a week each
11.25.06: Chapter 3.2 up - completion level of the walkthrough section: 30%. Also, I've joined Steal Me, which is the first non-japanese BalflearxAshe pairing fanlisting that I know of (check code on the right for a link to the fanlisting)
11.19.06: Chapter 3.1 up, which means I've completed 25% of the walkthrough proper, whoohoo! I am hoping to bring that to 40% next week thanks to a couple of days off from work
11.10.06: Chapter 1.3 revised, Chapter 2 up!
11.05.06: Chapter 1.1 and 1.2 revised and updated for the american version, with new details
11.04.06: Pretty important news: sorry, but I was on another online project that took all my time for six weeks. But not only is it now over, but FF XII is finally out in English! The NTSC/NA version of the game has been released on October 31, 2006, as well as the official guide. Because of that, what I had done is going under revision to fit the US version and will be completed. I had more pages written than already posted, so expect new chapters up quickly
09.16.06: Completed the whole of Chapter 1, i.e. until Nalbina Dungeons/Balheim Passage. Hopefully I'll have Chapter 2 completed within a few days, as well as a couple of other pages
09.10.06: New: page on the license board basics up!
Ok, chapter #1.1 up, yeah! Also planning to add the basics on mob hunts pretty soon, and this page will become an update page, while the rest will go to the about page - sounds more appropriate, doesn't it? I also would like to thanks the sites who accepted to exchange links with me - you'll find them below the navigation column
